Synopsis Writer (Storyteller/Copywriter)
We are looking for a creative and versatile Copywriter for the Product Merchandising team. The selected individual will write and summarize engaging storylines for Italian and Spanish films and TV series, in both English and Italian, facilitating navigation across the available content catalog. This role is ideal for someone with a deep passion for entertainment content, excellent writing and editorial skills, and a strong knowledge of Italian culture (Spanish language skills are a plus).
Main responsibilities:
- Writing synopses for films and TV series in Italian and English
- Editing and reviewing content to ensure quality and relevance
- Collaborating with the Writing Strategist and editorial teams
Requirements:
- Fluent in Italian and English (Spanish or other European languages are a plus)
- Strong background in writing/editing within the entertainment sector
- Experience in copywriting for digital media and knowledge of editorial best practices
- Experience writing synopses for streamers and broadcasters. Editing articles, blog posts, reviews, or feature stories about film and TV
- Experience writing other short-form Product copy or taglines for push notifications, UI copy or email messaging.
- Precision, ability to summarize, autonomy, and respect for deadlines
What we offer: A full-time, fixed-term, 6-month remote contract (Monday to Friday) with the possibility of extension.
