Material Engineering Lead a Milano
As Materials Engineering Lead you will respond to the Head of Department and be part of the Energy Carriers Business Line within Material Engineering Department.
The candidate will oversee all departmental disciplines involved in project development: “materials selection and corrosion,” “cathodic protection systems,” “welding and metallurgy,” “coatings and insulation.”
How can you support us?
• Plan, develop and supervise the preparation of relevant technical documents and ensure the execution of activities related to the above-listed disciplines within the Materials Engineering department for Proposal, Executive and R&D Projects in compliance with contractual requirements and in line with project strategies and timelines;
• Ensure the quality of technical solutions and documents prepared by the project team, while adhering to cost and timeline constraints;
• Manage relationships with the client and suppliers
What are we looking for?
Education: Master's Degree/bachelor’s degree in: materials engineering, mechanical engineering, chemical engineering or materials science
Experience: at least 8 years of experience in one or more of the fields listed above
Languages: English level B2/C1
Technical Skills: Corrosion, material selection and anticorrosion systems , metallurgy and welding knowledge. Previous experience in Oil & Gas sectors, fertilizer Plants and low carbon solutions and familiarity with international standards is preferred
IT Skills: Office, CAD, Power Bi and main software packages. Familiarity with databases and digital applications
What else should you know?
Willingness to travel within Italy and abroad for short periods to engineering centers, suppliers, or construction sites
